In response to the recently updated NIH Public Access Policy, authors or principle investigators receiving federal funding must submit their final peer-reviewed manuscript to PubMed Central. The Greenblatt Library has made available resource pages that walk through the steps for compliance.
It is essential for authors to understand their copyrights and obligations to both publishers and PubMed Central. Also provided are three approaches to submitting the final manuscript: PubMed Central participating publishers, publisher who will submit manuscript, and self-submission to PubMed Central.
The Library has provided NIH links to frequently asked questions and resource pages. Tutorials and video help pages are included in these resources.
