Need quick answers to short questions? Check out the Library’s new IM Chat service. Use a favorite chat service, such as Yahoo! or go to the Ask a Librarian page to send questions to a Reference Librarian. Librarians are available from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Greenblatt Library IM chat is best for short reference questions such as: Do you have the latest edition of the ICU book and is it available? Why can’t I get access to UpToDate while I’m at home? How can I renew my library books? How do I get off-campus access to library resources?
Why Chat? Chat is an easy way to get fast answers to everyday reference questions. So, use IM upstairs to ask about the availability of a reserved book or from the Health Sciences building to check on a citation. A Reference Librarian will promptly reply with the needed information or a referral to a specialist.
