Library Information Center (Map location)
The Education and Information Services department of the Greenblatt Library provides a user-centered single point of contact for library services at the Library Information Center.
This is where:
- Library patrons check out and return books, journals, multimedia items, PDAs, and headphones;
- Faculty place items on reserve and students check out those items for in-house use;
- Library patrons pick up items requested from other libraries;
- Library patrons initiate reference and educational services; and
- Non-MCG patrons access the Internet.
Library staff at the Library Information Center typically are patrons' first point of contact with the Library. After assessing patron needs, Library Information Center staff provide needed services or refer patrons to appropriate staff, departments, or services. Simply put, the Library Information Center is a major focal point of the Library's commitment to service excellence. |
